Roots of Unity
Sawyer, Michigan
Some homes are built for a moment, but this one was built for generations. After discovering this region during the pandemic and falling in love with its alluring charm, the clients chose to root their family story here. They imagined holidays that stretch into long weekends, cousins growing up visiting the same rooms, and a place that feels as enduring as the trees that surround it.

Durability and joy guided every decision. The ANDREA GOLDMAN team played with color and tone in ways that feel playful yet timeless through palettes and materials chosen to withstand daily life, big gatherings, and the inevitable spills of real living. The property includes its own pond and gathering spots that nod to the family’s Argentinian heritage. It’s a house made to be used hard and loved even harder, the kind of home that will hold stories for decades to come.
