Elevated & Earthy
Glencoe, Illinois
This home may sit in the Midwest, but its soul is firmly rooted in the mountains. After falling for the mood of their Telluride property, the owners wanted to bring that same sense of grounded, rustic elegance back home—a place that could hold Colorado’s spirit without feeling like a pastiche. The result is a residence where contemporary lines meet raw, tactile materials, and every room feels like a warm lodge moment reimagined for everyday life.

The ANDREA GOLDMAN team worked hand in hand with the architect to balance clean, thoughtful architecture with deep comfort. The palette leans dark and earthy, inviting stone, bark, and shadow to converge. Honed woods, weighty textiles, and tailored upholstery invite you to sink in, yet the planning remains highly intentional for empty nesters who truly live in every room. This is not a house of unused wings but rather a home where each space earns its keep, welcoming both intimate evenings and visiting family with equal grace.
