Color, Pattern & Cabo
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
When Chicago-based clients were ready to upgrade within their beloved Cabo development—trading their original home for a larger canvas—ANDREA GOLDMAN was their first call. The relationship was already there, and the trust came naturally. The design scheme had one north star: a home that would draw the whole family together and keep them there.

The home came developer-finished, with hard finishes already in place—which meant the impact would live in the furnishings, the layout, and all the decisions in between. Rather than simply fill the soaring, light-drenched spaces, the ANDREA GOLDMAN team was intentional. Every piece chosen for purpose, every room programmed with care. They flipped the script on the original marketing layout entirely, relocating the dining room to the center of the vast living-kitchen-dining space and carving out an intimate seating area next to the open kitchen. Cabo's natural palette—all that light, limestone, and the alluring view—called for a response that was tonal and textural, but the clients gave the ANDREA GOLDMAN team a long leash, and they ran with it. Color, pattern, and a few truly one-of-a-kind sourced pieces bring personality and warmth to every room, while each bedroom spills onto its own indoor-outdoor seating to further blur the lines between inside and out. It is, above all, a house built for fun—and one the family returns to again and again.
